【鏈條應用】日本 - 駐車限制
早先的一篇鏈條應用文章中，有賣場利用方形架搭配鏈條進行民眾動線管制，將這樣的方形架移到馬路上，再加片告示牌，就成了限制停車區域的劃分，為了在夜間也能有明顯的效果，搭配白色或其他淺色系的鏈條是不錯的選擇。

【鏈條應用】日本 - 賣場物品防摔落
日本的賣場中，常見以鏈條將物品圈圍起來。也許是因為日本地震頻繁，若能減少一些商品墜落或是減低墜落的速度，就能減少一些損失。塑膠鏈除了質輕，也不易因碰撞將商品損壞，或許是塑膠鏈較鐵鏈被廣泛使用的原因吧！

【鍊條應用】車輛動線導引
台北世貿一館正門前的停車場入口處，有防撞桿搭配塑膠鏈形成的車輛動線導引，同時也避免人潮誤入車道造成人身危險。相較於常見密集地使用防撞桿形成的導引方式，同時使用鏈條更能有阻擋民眾進入限制區域內的效果，而不單只是車輛動線導引的用途。
